This Privacy Policy explains how Vinspe collects, uses, stores and protects users' personal data, in compliance with Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018 — LGPD).
2. Data We Collect
- Account data: name, email, username and password (stored encrypted).
- Profile data: profile picture, banner and bio, when provided.
- Activity data: reviews, ratings, comments, lists, profile messages, reports submitted, and groups you participate in.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device and session cookies, collected automatically for security and site operation.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
We process your data based on your consent (LGPD art. 7, I), on the performance of the contract for use of the platform (art. 7, V), and on Vinspe's legitimate interest in keeping the community safe and functional (art. 7, IX).
4. How We Use Your Data
- Create and maintain your account;
- Display your profile, reviews and activity to other users, according to your privacy settings;
- Send notifications related to your account and activity (new followers, comments, likes);
- Improve our recommendation algorithms and prepare internal reports about the community, such as aggregated preferences for music genres and artists users listen to or engage with;
- Investigate reports and enforce community rules;
- Improve the platform and prevent abuse.
By creating an account, you acknowledge this processing for recommendations, analytics and internal reports. Recommendations may be personalized to users based on their activity and declared or inferred interests.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent identifiable personal data. We may share aggregated, statistical or anonymized insights with selected partners, such as music video producers, labels, cultural organizations and research or technology partners, to support relevant recommendations, audience analysis and partnerships. Before external disclosure, we apply measures intended to remove direct identifiers and prevent reasonable identification of individual users.
For example, we may report that a group of users shows interest in a genre or artist, or enable a partner campaign to reach users who may be interested in a type of music, without revealing the names, emails or individual activity of those users to the partner. We do not provide partners with your direct contact details for their own marketing without an appropriate legal basis and, where required, your consent.
We also share data with service providers essential to Vinspe's operation, such as hosting providers and transactional email senders, under confidentiality and security obligations. We may share information when required by law, a court order, or to protect the rights, safety and integrity of the community.
6. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep your session active, remember your theme (light/dark) and language preferences, and for security purposes. You can manage cookies in your browser settings, though this may affect how the site works.
7. Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers protected by passwords, encryption and access controls. Despite our efforts, no system is 100% secure; we recommend using a strong, unique password.
8. Data Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymize personal data, except where retention is required to comply with a legal obligation or to protect rights in administrative or judicial proceedings — for example, ban records, reports and moderation decisions, kept for security and accountability purposes.
9. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Under LGPD article 18, you have the right to: confirmation that processing exists; access to your data; correction of incomplete or outdated data; anonymization, blocking or deletion of unnecessary data; data portability; deletion of data processed with consent; information about data sharing; and revocation of consent.

10. Moderation, Reports and Bans
When content or a user is reported, we process the report data (who reported, the reason, the reported content) for review by moderation. We keep an internal record of banned users — name, email, ban reason, who applied the decision and when — to keep the community safe and, when necessary, to cooperate with competent authorities in investigations.
11. Minors
Vinspe is not directed at children under 13. If we identify an account belonging to a minor without appropriate consent from a legal guardian, we may suspend it.
